Being Kind

After watching a drama by the name :
<----  King of Baking (Korean drama serie), I must say I was super sad that it had all ended. But then again, there are 30 episodes in all.

The drama really made me think about how appreciative some people are, no matter what; how certain people always try to smile no matter how low they feel, and how it really does pay to be kind to others.

I am yet to meet someone who smiles even when they have had everything they possibly know of, taken away from them. It was the kind heart of Kim Tak Gu, the main character - which made him such a likeable person. No matter how bad people treated him, he still managed to forgive and let go.

From the drama, I also learnt that a grudge eats no other than the person who holding unto it. When you hold a grudge against someone, it tends to be you who gets hurt in the end, while the other person moves on with their life.

To be truly happy one has to appreciate each day as it comes along; learn to smile when your heart is breaking, get up when you fall, apologize when you're wrong, work to grow strong and love when it's hard. Life is one big lesson, and the only way to learn is to go through it.

I can't say that watching these dramas are always just purely for fun. Very often there are great things to learn from them, and this drama has earned a place among my favourites.

Point of entry?

Life is not a fairytale, but you have what it takes to make it worthwhile. You can start by putting a smile on someone's face.
