Porn!!!

Well. Since I haven't exactly seen any blog touch upon this "sensitive" topic, I decided I would like to write a post dedicated to it, and the reality behind it.

First of all, it amazes me how much people contradict themselves when it comes to certain things. They would not like to be violated, but yet they violate, they would not like people to steal from them, yet they steal from others, and they would not like people manhandling their sisters, yet they wouldn't have trouble manhandling someone elses', they don't support human trafficking, yet they would have no trouble sitting through a porn movie.

The really sad thing a lot of guys/girls (because they are not an exception, many of them do watch porn movies) don't get is that, although it is "pure" entertainment for them, someone had to suffer making the movie they are "enjoying".

First off, this is what porn is:

1. Hours upon hours of painful positions
2. Cutting and editing to make it all seem real
3. Drug taking (at most times) before a movie is being filmed
4. Oppression of women who (think that they..) have no future
5. Acting

Here's what porn isn't:

1. Innocent
2. Enjoyable for most of the women who take part in it
3. Real

Most men/women take pleasure in believing that what they see on television is what it is, and therefore expect the same performance from their partner.

Many, if not all of the women who take part in porn movies are either forced to or drugged down to perform. In addition to this, they often have to endure painful hours of keeping positions in order for it all to be captured on camera, often involving a lot of takes before the director is satisfied. These shots are later edited in order for them to seem more believable to their viewers.

I'm not an accuser, and do in fact not point fingers at those who are frequent watchers of porn, but it's something to think about. How would you feel if it was a family member? Would you support men watching your sister or mother perform those acts on television? What about human trafficking? Do you support when someone's life is at stake for the pleasure of another?

THINK ABOUT IT. THEIR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!
